exactly. i thougth so too. not that i ever used even an android, btu someoen wnate dmys uggestion on buying a tablet n i had exactly this thing in my mind taht how to create writing material.but since writers n authors r nto really tech-savvy ppl. so the users of tablets r msotly those who chk mails, fb, status etc or post photos so for them its very feasible.
coming to think of it when they brought out blogger-mobile i always wondered dat how cud anyone post thru mobile..??!?!!

btw m from Paksitan n I write on relationships mostly as well as some funny stuff.

I am one of the luckier ones - born in a joint family and maternal grandparents live in the same town. A short bicycle ride would take me from one "apple of my eye"place to another :-)
And both the grandparents have influenced my life in a very nice way - they still do.
As a young child who has only love to give, I can totally understand what your daughter must be feeling right now.

Coming to the assertion that most of the content is coming from the west - well, I would say this is an over-generalization. India and Indians do generate lots of content - photos, videos, blogs. There are fields where we are lagging (games, for instance), but otherwise we are doing pretty good.

I sometimes wonder if this is because India had severe supply constraints on just about everything for a large part of its history as a country. That could have instilled in people the need to be ultra selfish and try and squeeze every tiny advantage for themselves without caring two hoots about the common good.
Supply constraints are now being eroded but the people who are adults today are still grounded in the old behaviour. The real test would be whether today's children behave differently when they grow up.

I guess secondly, it also depends on expectations. It takes significantly more character to not do wrong when everyone else is. Not everyone can I guess, though they should.
